GE Internship

Measurement and Control Internship | Summer 2014

Designed a test fixture for a new sensor and collaborated with electrical engineers and machinists in the design of the body of the new sensor.

Designed a new safety cover for an old machine which also had to be retrofitted with an interlock system and an emergency stop button, which was 3D printed to rapidly prototype the interactions.

Created a library of materials tested for corrosion resistance to aid future engineers in making a better choice when selecting materials.
